[This is the plot that all imperials need to follow. These are the cannon characters only.]
Long ago eight of the very first equines walked through the land now known as Ciarria. These eight horses all lived together. They were like a family, picking on each other, making each other mad, and so on. Two of the horses didn't waste their time playing silly games. They acted as the two leaders of the groups, each in charge of three campaigns. Vulcan was in charge of the three older equines, Cries, Mars, and Charious. Triton was in charge of the three younger equines, Eros, Apollo, and Trinity.
Not even a whole year had passed since they arrived in Ciarria when blackness and ice enveloped the earth. All eight of the horses seemed to die off. They discovered that they were nearly stuck in time just in another realm. This new place was nothing but merely eight small paddocks, each containing one tree, grass, and a small puddle that never dried up or lost water in any way. It seemed that this was all they would get, not much space to run in, some grass that tasted better then anything they had ever tasted, sweet water from a puddle, and a tree.
Many decades passed and they lived that way for a while until Cries started wandering and eventually discovered that they could easily go back down to earth. It was truly amazing. Mortals had seen them though, talked to them, and they spread stories of the eight equines in the sky. Each horse seemed to control one thing on earth though. But as for Vulcan and Triton... they had everything.
When the mortals broke off into two sides, it seemed that the imperials had as well. Whatever happened on earth was carried through to the realm of the pastures. Vulcan became the leader of the dark minded equines, and Triton was leader of the kind minded.
And so that is how it began. Sure all of the imperials still live side by side in their pastures, often visiting the grounds they used to walk on. There were a a few new rules passed by Triton though, you may never tell a mortal who you really are, if you are called by either Triton or Vulcan you must come no matter what, You do whatever The leaders say or you will be severely punished, obey. And so with those laws problems have formed. Vulcan seemed to have taken advantage of his power by calling on the light imperials and making them act as slaves while Triton is gone.
What will happen now? Will their realm go into complete chaos? Will someone possibly die and be gone forever? It's not your average bedtime story.
